Meet Curtis Morrison
Immigration attorney. Federal law litigator. Husband. Activist. Curtis’s path—from Eagle Scout to courtroom advocate—was built on resilience, reinvention, and service.
Thank you for your support!A life of reinvention—and results
Raised in Southern Indiana and an Eagle Scout, Curtis left college early, spent years in small business and real estate (including a firm he built with his sister), then returned to finish his degree at the University of Louisville while working as a substitute teacher and at UPS. He later studied social work, organized, blogged, and even ran for state senate in 2012.
After a high-profile, politically charged episode in 2014, Curtis moved to California to attend Whittier Law. While studying abroad in Barcelona, he met his husband, Rodolfo—they’re celebrating 10 years together.
He went on to public-interest climate litigation in Oregon, then returned to Southern California in 2018 to practice immigration law, ultimately founding firms that fight for immigrant families in federal court.
